Keeley Construction has officially broken ground on a 132,000-square-foot expansion of HELUKABEL USA’s facility at 1201 Weseman Drive in West Dundee, Illinois.
Upon completion, the facility will span over 200,000 square feet. “Our vision for this project is ambitious, and it reflects our commitment to growth as well as product and service excellence,” said Jurrien van der Akker, President of HELUKABEL USA. “Our vertical integration—including cables, connectors, plug-and-play assemblies, and cable guidance systems—enables us to deliver fully populated, ready-to-install electrical solutions to our partners.”
The expansion will introduce new warehouse, office, and climate-controlled electrical systems development and testing spaces, marking the first time these types of operations will take place on-site in the US.
Keeley Construction’s project team is led by Paul Jennrich, Senior Project Manager; Dan Zboncak, Senior Superintendent; and Dorothy Mateo, Project Coordinator. Project partners include Skedio Architecture, Jacob & Hefner, and Benchmark Developers, serving as the owner’s representative.
