Ford’s legendary Escort Mk1 is receiving a brand-new, though very unofficial, lease on life courtesy of British motorsport-focused tuning firm, MST. The Wales-based company has confirmed that two reimagined versions of the Escort – one an homage to the 1968 Mk1, the other a tribute to the 1975 Mk2 – will be produced, limited to just 25 examples apiece. The former will arrive in 2026, while the latter will follow shortly after in 2027.
