The Lexus IS 500 has reached its, um, peak. The V8-powered sport compact with luxury trappings has been one of the coolest cars that Lexus has sold since it launched in 2021, and now the 500, and the IS as we know it, could be coming to an end. That means special edition models, including the IS 500 Ultimate Edition sold in the US. Japan, though, is getting its own special edition. The Lexus IS 500 Climax Edition is the pinnacle of IS performance this year. But if you don’t act fast, it might be gone before you know it.
