Not only does the iconic race car manufacturing company Lola still exist, but it announced a 16-model run of continuation cars built using scans of the T70 sports prototype race car. Back in the 1960s, the Lola T70 announced its arrival to racing by winning the Monterey Grand Prix at Laguna Seca Raceway, and went on to become a legendary race car that took on the Ford GT40 and Porsche 908 on the track. As well as using scans to reboot the T70 for the 21st century as the T70S, Lola used archive drawings to recreate the original using modern materials.
