The Monarch San Antonio, Curio Collection by Hilton , recently opened in the reimagined Hemisfair District. At 17 stories high, the property is located steps away from major attractions such as the River Walk and the Alamo.
The $185 million property is owned and operated by Zachry Hospitality. Designed by San Antonio-based Overland Partners, the hotel draws inspiration from the monarch butterflies that migrate through the region each year.
The hotel features 200 guest rooms, including 28 suites.
Amenities include a full-service spa with four treatment rooms and a range of wellness services, a 550-square-foot fitness studio and a third-floor pool deck featuring cabanas. It also has 15,000 square feet of event space, including eight distinct venues and a 5,000-square-foot ballroom.Â
