Mercedes-Benz is reportedly working on a small crossover that will live alongside the newly introduced CLA-Class as the company’s entry-level offering. Due to replace the global-market A-Class (which was discontinued in the U.S. after 2022), the as-yet-unnamed SUV will likely slot in beneath the GLA and GLB, allowing Benz to keep tabs on the lowest stratum in the luxury car market and hopefully convert new buyers into lifelong brand loyalists.
