A five-story, 52-unit mixed-use project at 1305 E. Jefferson St. in Seattle’s Squire Park neighborhood has received conditional approval from the city.
The development near Seattle University would replace an existing building that will be demolished. The vacant building was previously associated with bars and restaurants. The project includes plans for more than a dozen vehicles, and it was originally proposed more than five years ago.
The applicant listed is Peter Secan, an architect and founding member of Seattle’s MNMuM Studio, while Jerry Fulks is listed as the owner and Lou Development as the developer. Root of Design in Bothell is the landscape architect, reported the Puget Sound Business Journal. The proposed project is across from Seattle University’s Championship Field Stadium, as well as another mixed-use building, a townhome and a single-family house.
