Murphy Development Company Idaho (MDCI) has acquired two properties totaling 77 acres located in Nampa, Idaho.
Murphy Development received approval for a mixed-use master planned community totaling 1,492 multifamily units. The properties were fully entitled in June 2025 for the development and are strategically positioned adjacent to the new Highway 16 Corridor.
“These acquisitions position us ahead of the curve in a corridor that is rapidly emerging as a critical artery for regional growth,” said Mike Arduino, Partner at Murphy Development. “The Highway 16 Corridor offers an exceptional long-term land investment and development opportunity, and we appreciate the City of Nampa’s partnership as we work to deliver much-needed housing and long-term value to the community.”
Highway 16 represents a game-changing north–south transportation addition for the region. Construction of Highway 16 is currently underway, and once completed, the corridor is expected to spur continued annexation, commercial development, and residential growth.
