• The Partnership for New York City announced that Steven Fulop will serve as its next president and CEO. Currently the Mayor of Jersey City, Fulop will succeed outgoing President and CEO Kathryn S. Wylde, who has led the organization since 2000 and has been a pillar of New York’s civic and political life for decades. 

• First National Realty Partners (FNRP), a leading national private equity commercial real estate firm, has added Andrew Lucas as SVP of investor relations. With more than 15 years of experience in capital markets and investor relations, Lucas will play a key role in advancing FNRP’s capital-raising strategy and enhancing engagement across the firm’s accredited investor community. 

• The NHP Foundation (NHPF), a national not-for-profit leader in affordable housing preservation and development, appointed Joseph P. Weatherly as CIO. Before joining NHPF, Weatherly served as SVP at McCormack Baron Salazar and chief development officer at McCormack Baron Residential, where he pursued and secured development rights for more than 11,000 units nationwide and built national business development and workforce housing teams. 

• 365 Data Centers appointed Derek Gillespie as CEO and Steve Amelio as president. The leadership transition follows the planned retirement of co-founder and CEO Bob DeSantis, who will continue to serve as a board member and strategic adviso. 

• Shannon Lazare has been promoted to Metro Market Manager for Business Banking at M&T Bank. Lazare has been with M&T since 2013 and currently serves as regional president for New Jersey.

• As New York City prepares for the formal launch of the 2026 New York City Housing and Vacancy Survey, the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) has formed a new partnership with the City University of New York (CUNY) that will provide students with paid internship experience with the longest-standing survey in NYC’s housing history. This marks the first partnership of its kind between HPD and CUNY.
