Newmark’s Western U.S. multifamily capital markets team has expanded its footprint to Portland with the addition of Frank Solorzano as Managing Director.
Solorzano will collaborate closely with Executive Vice Chairman Joseph Smolen and Vice Chairmen Nick Kucha, Geoff Boler and others in advancing the team’s multifamily investment sales and equity placement work across the West. The addition of Solorzano underscores Newmark’s strategic expansion in key U.S. markets, including a significant West Coast multifamily growth initiative.
Solorzano will work closely with Executive Vice Chairman Joseph Smolen and Vice Chairman Nick Kucha, both key leaders for Newmark’s multifamily business. His addition strengthens the team’s capabilities to provide comprehensive advisory services, from capital markets execution to debt and equity financing.
Solorzano has been instrumental in closing over $4.5 billion in transactions, encompassing more than 15,000 multifamily units. He joins Newmark from JLL, where he specialized in multifamily investment sales and equity placement across Oregon and Washington.
