Demolition is continuing at the former Pinehurst on Providence apartment community, to make way for an apartment and townhome community at Providence Row, Northwood Ravin’s sprawling rental development. The Charlotte Business Journal reports the latest venture will include 144 apartment units and 26 townhomes. Once completed, the project will total 829 apartment and rental units.
Construction is expected to begin over the next several months, with the first units delivering in summer 2027.
Northwood Ravin acquired the former Pinehurst on Providence apartment complex at 3902 Providence Road for $45.1 million in December 2014. In 2016, Northwood demolished 152 units for the first phase of Providence Row. That 326-unit upscale community, which includes one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, opened in 2019. Phase two (photo) added another 333 one-, two- and three-bedroom units to the development. That phase opened in 2023.
