Hennessey just showed up at Monterey Car Week with the most extreme build in its history. A true one-off, this Venom F5 Revolution LF is the first project from the brand’s new Maverick bespoke commission division. It’s loaded with custom touches that push the engineering and craftsmanship into even rarer air than the Venom F5 already lives in.

Named after its commissioner, American entrepreneur and collector Louis Florey, the LF takes everything we love about the Venom F5 Revolution and rewrites the build sheet. Hennessey designed a roof-off, track-focused aero package that previews the forthcoming F5 Evolution.
It sports wind tunnel-honed bodywork, a taller rear wing, revised dive planes, and a reshaped front splitter. Underneath the Coco Brown-tined carbon fiber body with its River Sand Metallic accents sits a new carbon fiber monocoque.
Power and performance
Power comes from a retuned version of Hennessey’s 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that now makes 2,031 hp that’s sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox. In short, this car isn’t just designed to turn heads; it’s built to keep the power it makes under control at ludicrous speeds.
Inside the cabin, engagement takes center stage. The gated shifter is milled from solid aluminum; every switch and toggle features a new horology-inspired design, and even the parking brake lever has a bolt-action feel to it. The automaker even went as far as to rework the floor for a more natural driving position.
“When our customers have a dream, we work to make their dreams come true – exceeding customer expectations is a badge of honor. Our new ‘Maverick’ division enables our customers to take our American Hypercar to a totally new dimension. I see it as the ultimate expression of the American Dream!,” says John Hennessey. No doubt, this raises the bar to an even higher level than it was already at.
Next in line
The brand is also debuting the Venom F5 Revolution Evolution, which it calls the world’s most powerful internal combustion road car. Consider it the next generation of the F5. Owners who have already received their F5 can have it upgraded to this specification.
