Manthey Racing is sort of like a lesser-known version of Mercedes-Benz AMG or BMW M or Alpina. It’s a go-fast effort that’s owned by the company whose vehicles it modifies. Unlike AMG and M, Manthey Racing doesn’t just tack a few badges on everything its parent makes, and unlike Alpina, it doesn’t try to make cars more comfortable.
