
Prologis broke ground on the final phase of a speculative development within its La Porte, TX, industrial and logistics park, Port Crossing Commerce Center. Plans call for adding 290,000 square feet across two buildings, bringing the park’s total footprint to over 2.7 million square feet across 11 buildings. The new addition will consist of one building at 120,013 square feet and another at 109,214 square feet.Â
In Houston, Prologis’ commercial property portfolio comprises 200+ buildings totaling over 37 million square feet and supporting 550+ customers.
In 2024, the company’s facilities saw $273.2 billion in throughput, supporting a $31.8 billion GDP impact and generating $5.2 billion in tax revenues.  The company has 1.3 billion square feet of assets across 20 countries. It touts that 3% of global GDP flows through its properties.
