Ram refreshed the 1500 pickup for the 2025 model year. The brand made a controversial decision to meet emissions regulations by eliminating the Hemi V8 from the 1500 lineup. Ram introduced a more powerful and efficient Hurricane inline-six engine, but buyers still wanted the V8. As a result, Ram suffered its worst sales year in over a decade, selling fewer than 400,000 trucks in the U.S.
