It’s not every year that the country you call home turns 250 years old, and Ram isn’t letting the opportunity to celebrate slip by. In honor of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, Ram has partnered with non-partisan organization America250 to launch three new special editions based on the Ram 1500 Big Horn, Laramie, and Rebel, applying one of three colors to the metal and one of two designs to the cabin. Under the hood, each of the trucks is available with the Standard Output version of the 3.0-liter Hurricane twin-turbo inline-six or the 5.7-liter HEMI V8, with the Big Horn also having access to the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, its standard engine. Let’s start with that trim.
Ram 1500 Big Horn America250 Special Edition Gets Neat Denim Upholstery

The Big Horn special edition comes in Molten Red Pearl-Coat, Hydro Blue Pearl-Coat, or Bright White Clear-Coat finishes, and inside, the bucket seats are trimmed in a stunning Denim Soul blue fabric material contrasted with red and white stitching. The tops of the front seatbacks also get Velcro patches embossed with the America250 logo, and these have been specifically designed to fit military name patches and U.S. flag patches. The truck also gets red, white, and blue stitching on the lid of the center console, the door armrests, and the steering wheel, while Ruby Red seat belts add a bigger splash of color. There’s also a Black Onyx Chrome America250 emblem on the passenger side upper glovebox door, “America Made Us” aluminum door sill plates, and a custom leather key tag with both Ram and America250 logos embossed on one side and an American flag cloth graphic on the other.

Normally, special editions like these don’t change anything in the UX, but this special edition gets an America250 “splash” graphic in the driver info display on start-up. Outside, the truck gets a body-color grille surround, a Diamond Black Crystal Pearl-Coat finish for the bumpers, fender flares, mirror caps (with auto-dimming mirrors), door handles, and tailgate handle, satin black badges and America250 emblems, 20-inch wheels in black, and a Sport Performance hood with satin black U.S. flag graphics. A similar graphic also appears on the rear bedsides, within which there’s a Mopar spray-in bedliner.
Different Wheels, Looks for Laramie and Rebel Special Editions
Stellantis
The Laramie version of the Ram 1500 America250 special edition gets a fancy Gloss Black billet grille, again with a body-color surround, and 22-inch aluminum wheels in black, while the Rebel makes do with 18-inch wheels wrapped in all-terrain rubber. The Rebel also gets a mesh grille, this time with a Satin Black surround, a powder-coated black front bumper with integrated tow hooks, and a low-gloss black rear bumper. The latter finish also appears on the fender flares, and those willing to spend a little extra can get the lower body painted in Diamond Black Crystal Pearl-Coat paint. Finally, the Rebel America250 special edition gets black lighting bezels, but sadly, Stellantis hasn’t provided detailed images of the exterior of each special edition, so we’ll have to squint at the header image at the top of this article.

Inside, both Laramie and Rebel special editions benefit from leather performance seats with perforated Blue Crust centers, Graphite Metallic-trimmed bolsters, and red, white, and blue stitching. This also appears on the leather-trimmed dash, door uppers and armrests, center consle lid, and steering wheel. Again, the upper seatbacks get embossed Velcro logos for patches, the same start-up graphic as the Big Horn, a Satin Chrome emblem on the passenger side instrument panel, a custom leather key tag, and America Made Us door sill scuff plates. So what does all this cost?
Stellantis
The Big Horn starts at $61,415 with the V6 engine, and that includes the $2,495 America250 package and destination charges. The Laramie’s pricing starts at $70,365, and the Rebel at $72,830, again including the aforementioned add-on charges and with both prices including the Hurricane SO engine. However, the Rebel’s America-250 package only costs $1,995. Orders are now open, and Ram says quantities are limited, but if you miss out, don’t fret too much—Stellanis says these special editions “lead the series of special-edition introductions” across the U.S. brands in the Stellantis portfolio, so there’ll be other America250 specials soon enough. While we wait to see what those are, do you think these special editions are better than GM’s Stars & Steel collection? Let us know below.
