There are a plethora of Rivian competitors, but which ones can take this truck on head-to-head? There might not be a single truck with specs to out-gun every other electric pickup on the market, but each one offers advantages over the others. The R1T has only been on sale for a few years, while competing manufacturers, like Ford and GM, have been in the game for far longer – even if their own electric pickups didn’t gain traction until relatively recently. Having the funding of a developed and well-known brand helps legacy automakers take risks, while Rivian had to rely on startup funds and investors to get the ball rolling on a shorter timeline.
