The city of Scottsdale gave DPC the go-ahead to build a 189-unit apartment complex on roughly 8.5 acres at 7000 E. Shea Blvd. The Phoenix Business Journal reports that DPC wanted to recognize famed Arizona artist Paoli Soleri with the project name and an art gallery on the site of its newest apartment community.
DPC is partnering with Trammell Crow subsidiary High Street Residential to develop the apartments. ESG is the architect, and the Sustainability Engineering Group is the civil engineer.
The existing retail center at the site has 33% vacancy.
DPC has developed projects like the mixed-use Scottsdale Entrada development and the Park at San Tan in Chandler. In May 2024, Chandler’s Planning and Zoning Commission approved the 327,776-square-foot Chandler Innovation Center. In March 2024, DPC sold the 350,000-square-foot, 25-story 3200 Central office tower to California-based Younan Properties in a $24.5 million deal.
