CenterSquare recently executed three acquisitions, adding to the company’s essential service retail portfolio. These latest additions include a Seattle-area retail center, and the deals bring the firm’s portfolio to 74 properties nationally.
CenterSquare bought the 25,414-square-foot Normandy Park shopping center located just 14 miles from downtown Seattle. The property features three buildings and is 100% leased. Normandy Park is CenterSquare’s second retail asset in the region and is strategically located near the Seattle–Tacoma International Airport.
Located at 19803 1st Avenue S., the property is anchored by Grocery Outlet on a new 10-year lease. The center offers a mix of tenants, including Papa John’s, Ace Hardware, Subway, and Edward Jones. The company also acquired the Shoppes at Indian Trail, a 33,129 square-foot retail plaza in Charlotte, North Carolina, as well as the 22,000-square-foot Saxon Shops property in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
