The Trump administration changed the climate for electric vehicles by eliminating the $7,500 federal tax credit. Estimates suggest the move could cut the EV market share in the US in half. Not surprisingly, eliminating the credit proved the last straw for some underperforming EV efforts. One was the Chevrolet Brightdrop van.
