The 2026 Color Collection from 3form highlights hues that have anchored design across generations and cultures for thousands of years. The brand’s sixth grouping is a departure from last year’s palette, which emphasized the emotional power of select shades. With the guiding theme “Color that Connects,” the new line features tones that are celebrated by communities around the globe.
Inspiration for the palette came from exploring natural pigments used to make certain colors, and how they were found in various locales over time. “These colors reflect the deep memory of the collective, and their connection to the world,” says Ryan Smith, chief creative officer at 3form.
Each of the eight colors was selected for its prominence throughout history yet are still relevant and adaptable for contemporary interiors. Cabernet is a berry wine-like red that also calls to mind ancient pigments like ochre and madder. Spice, a saturated amber-orange tint, is reminiscent of once rare seasonings that became among the most valuable commodities.
Sienna, a warm and earthy terracotta, echoes the clay-based material used to create pottery, bricks, and tiles. The Safflower yellow tone is as vibrant as the blooms found on the namesake plant, cultivated for thousands of years. Peach is, of course, named after the popular fruit, and pairs perfectly with Sprig, a muted green that brings a freshness indoors.
The last two shades round out the collection and have an added depth. Indigo, like the prized plant-based colorant, is a deep yet muted blue. Russet is a rich amber-brown similar to the soil and bark that are essential earth elements.
The collection is available in three materials and supported by a range of hardware. Signature Varia panels have a standard sandstone finish on both sides, ideal for partitions or room dividers. Chroma panels with vellum finish are suitable for tabletops and shelves. Laminated 3form Glass panels are cut to size and offered in Low-Iron or Clear-Float finishes that are perfect for decorative wall features.
This collection resonates because it feels familiar. People find comfort in the tints that have been incorporated in every facet of life, from architecture to fashion. “We wanted to continue the story of these origin colors that we have a natural connection to and that never go out of style,” Smith adds.
