With gas prices behaving more like a roller coaster than a steady expense this year, keeping your eyes on the large price displays at stations has become more work than spotting meme-worthy billboards for local ambulance chasing attorneys. Whether you’re a local commuting through humid Florida mornings or an interstate traveler navigating scenic coastal routes, finding a gas station that offers low-cost gas can feel like a genuine win for your wallet.
We’ve sifted through real-time user reports and market data to identify five spots in Florida that are currently offering significant relief. We will caution you that, of all the states and cities we research, Florida pricing seems to be “gamed” more than most, with some stations reporting extremely low-cost gas at various junctures, which feels like an attempt to get people to go out of their way for gas only to be met with disappointment.

Chevron ($2.47)
- Address: 3008 US-98 W, Santa Rosa Beach, FL
- Nearby Gas Stations: CEFCO (111 N County Hwy 393) at $2.69 and Exxon (7930 W CR-30A) at $2.57
This Chevron station is situated near the scenic Point Washington State Forest and the pristine sands of Santa Rosa Beach, making it a perfect spot to fill up if you’re on vacation or a day trip. This station is currently undercutting its immediate neighbor, CEFCO, by 22 cents, so it’s worth visiting if you’re in the area.

Dodge’s Store ($2.45)
- Address: 1 Eglin Pkwy SE, Fort Walton Beach, FL
- Nearby Gas Stations: Murphy USA (10 Eglin Pkwy NE) at $2.49 and Shell (168 Eglin Pkwy NE) at $2.59
Located in the heart of Fort Walton Beach, Dodge’s is close to the Indian Temple Mound Museum and the Emerald Coast Science Center. Go here for the convenience more than the pricing; it’s tied for the lowest price in the immediate vicinity. If you’re int he area, and spot this Dodge’s Store location, know you’ll be hard pressed to find better pricing elsewhere.

Cumberland Farms ($2.43)
- Address: 42 US-98 W, Santa Rosa Beach, FL
- Nearby Gas Stations: CEFCO (111 N County Hwy 393) at $2.52 and Tom Thumb (3871 E CR-30A) at $2.79
Cumberland Farms sits near the entrance to Top Sail Hill Preserve State Park, known for its towering white quartz dunes. Just down the road from the Chevron on our list, Cumberland Farms is a few cents cheaper. While competitive for the region, we don’t suggest driving out of your way to get there unless you’ve got a big tank to fill.

Shell ($2.39)
- Address: 1 W Cervantes St, Pensacola, FL
- Nearby Gas Stations: Circle K (501 E Cervantes St) at $2.67 and TownMart (601 W Cervantes St) at $2.69
This Shell station serves the historic North Oakhurst area and is a short drive from the Pensacola Museum of Art in Florida’s panhandle. It’s a good deal cheaper than ost in its area, but like Marathon, we suspect pricing might be a bit gamed.

Marathon ($2.17)
- Address: 2701 NW 36th St, Miami, FL
- Nearby Gas Stations: Mobil (2740 NW 27th Ave) at $2.85 and Chevron (2190 NW 36th St) at $2.87
Close to the Miami International Airport, this Marathon is an ideal spot to fill up a rental car, which makes its pricing a bit suspect to us. Its listed price makes it one of the more affordable branded options in this high-traffic Miami corridor, but some reports are incredibly low. While today’s price is reportedly $2.17, don’t be surprised to find gas prices closer to $3 per gallon, here.
