Ask your teenager what they want to drive, and they’ll likely see themselves heading to school in a Camaro or a blacked-out Escalade. Practicality is the last thing on your mind when you’re a youngster wanting to make an impression – but that’s what parents are for, to guide us to the more sensible life choices when we don’t quite have the experience or the wisdom to make those calls without some input from mom and dad.
