When you see where Lincoln is today as a manufacturer, you can perhaps understand why the company was really searching for a new identity at around the turn of the century. Back then, its focus was on traditional luxury sedans like the Continental and Town Car, but now, it concentrates almost entirely on SUVs, which is a quantum shift away from those early-2000 vibes. And as part of that coping exercise, it was to come up with a radical idea which was perhaps the greatest off-road sedan concept ever, in the shape of the bold Lincoln Navicross.
