As a colleague of mine recently said, “You can’t make the internet happy.” Those words bore themselves out after the Honda Prelude was finally fully revealed in production specification last week. Despite Honda revealing an honest-to-goodness sporty two-door coupe, the griping began about it not being a proper Prelude. I saw complaints about how it should be more closely related to the Accord, rather than the Civic, just like past Preludes. I even saw a gripe about there not being a sunroof, which has apparently been a staple feature for the coupe. My instincts were to make a case that the new Prelude is entirely deserving of the name. However, I realized something. The people on the Internet actually weren’t wrong. The Prelude isn’t really a Prelude. It’s a new Integra coupe!
