Tesla recently released an updated version of the Model 3, making the entry-level sedan more practical and user-friendly and giving it additional range. A revised LG battery with denser-packed cells deserves some credit for the changes, which get Tesla closer to taking the lead in an all-out range war with Lucid Motors – though the Air still holds the trophy with 512 miles per charge. The only catch, however, is that the revisions only apply to cars sold in the European market, and their future for American consumers is undetermined.
