In the compact SUV segment, there are two titans: the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4. These are the first models buyers likely check out when they’re shopping, and there are reasons for that. They do just about everything well, being comfortable, practical, efficient, and reliable. Plus, they have great resale value. It can be hard for any other automaker to get attention, especially if their product just tries to do what the Honda and Toyota do: a competent machine for everyone.
