It’s always a good idea to research any model you’re considering buying. Whether you’re in the market for a used FordF-150 or a new Honda Civic Si, you’ll want to check out typical repair costs, common mechanical issues, JD Power quality and reliability ratings, and so on. That said, there are certain brands that you can pretty much always count on, no matter the model, or model year. Not to say that these automakers never release a dud, but those duds are so few and far between as to be statistical outliers.
