Throughout automotive history, nearly every legacy automaker had produced at least one model that ended up defining the brand name, along with shaping the future of said brand’s image. We don’t have to ponder long before we come across names like the MX5 Miata, which was built by Mazda and propelled the Japanese automaker into the mainstream.
