
For nearly a century, almost all conventional, series-production gasoline engines utilized a carburetor. The carburetor’s job is to moderate the air/fuel mixture that’s going into the engine via the motor’s intake manifold. Of course, there have been loads of different carburetor designs throughout its history and a few brands, such as Edelbrock, Holley, and Stromberg, were leading lights in the world of old-school engine fueling.
