Toyota has announced that it will be building a brand-new auto factory. This “plant of the future” won’t be built on US soil as a workaround for tariffs, though. The new plant will be built in the company’s home, Toyota City, and its construction shows that automakers use timelines that span a generation, not year-to-year changes that are seen as being temporary inconveniences.
