President Trump is set to support Sen. Lindsey Graham’s (R-S.C.) reelection bid at a fundraiser and golf tournament next month, Graham’s campaign confirmed to The Hill.
In addition to supporting the senator’s reelection bid, the event, which is being dubbed the “Trump-Graham Classic,” will also support the Republican National Committee’s reelection efforts and a Trump leadership PAC.
Politico was the first outlet to report on the fundraising push, which will mark Trump’s first official campaign appearance of the 2026 midterm election cycle.
Trump formally endorsed Graham’s reelection in a Truth Social post earlier this year.
“Lindsey has been a wonderful friend to me, and has always been there when I needed him,” Trump wrote in March. “Senator Lindsey Graham has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election — HE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN. Everyone in South Carolina should help Lindsey have a BIG WIN next year!”
Graham is running for his fifth term in the Senate in what the nonpartisan Cook Political Report calls a “solid Republican race.”
Former South Carolina Lt. Gov. André Bauer (R) launched a primary challenge against Graham in July but suspended his bid roughly a month later.
