U.S. Bancorp Tower, more casually known as Big Pink, is being listed for sale, reported by the Puget Sound Business Journal.
The 42-story building, also known as Big Pink comes from the property’s pink Spanish granite and pink glazed plate glass, is owned and operated by Seattle-based Unico Properties. JLL Capital Markets senior managing director Mark Katz and managing directors Buzz Ellis and Adam Lasoff are leading efforts for the sale.JLL highlighted the building’s history, while acknowledging its need for a makeover.
In the listing, JLL highlights the building’s features saying, “The property presents a one-of-a-kind opportunity to rebrand and reimagine an irreplicable asset.” The building encompasses over 1.1 million square feet of rentable space and sis situated where near downtown Portland meets the Pearl District. Built in 1981, the building underwent major renovations in 2015.
