A couple of years ago, Volvo introduced its very first minivan called the EM90. It’s based on a Zeekr, another brand in parent company Geely’s portfolio, and at the time of the reveal, Volvo said it had no plans to offer it in the US. Fast-forward to today, and Car and Driver discovered a patent filing with the US Patent and Trademark Office for that exact minivan. Naturally, that leaves us wondering if maybe Volvo has changed its mind. But there’s a bit more to it than just that.
