Like most luxury manufacturers, Volvo was planning to go all-electric by 2030. That dream has not quite worked out. EV sales growth has stagnated and may dip in the future with the elimination of the federal tax credit. Volvo’s EV rollout has been choppy with technical issues, tariff-related issues, and some of the best vehicle ideas ending up with Polestar badges.
