German explorer and multi-time Guinness World Record holder Rainer Zietlow is looking to break another world record, this time for the most countries visited in one journey driving an electric vehicle. The 55-year-old Mannheim native recently started his odyssey from Volkswagen’s Commercial Vehicles Customer Center in Hanover, Germany, and will travel to 75 different countries – including Australia, New Zealand, and the Americas – aboard a long-wheelbase version of Volkswagen’s ID.Buzz.
