Banner has started work on a 120,000 square foot medical campus in north Scottsdale near Loop 101 and Hayden Road. Developed in collaboration with the city, the new Banner Health Center Plus campus—100% privately funded—will feature a specialty cancer center, Banner Urgent Care, Banner Imaging and a wide range of primary and specialty physician services.
Banner’s project will create 2,500 jobs and directly invest more than $750 million into the Scottsdale economy. Construction alone will create $500 million in economic impact. The campus will generate nearly $400 million annually in economic benefits for the community. NexCore Group is the developer for the project, and Okland Construction is the general contractor.Â
Construction of Banner Health Center Plus is expected to be complete by early 2027
Phase two of the medical campus is a 350,000-square-foot, full-service acute-care hospital that will open with 106 patient beds in the first phase of construction.Â
