Rivian fully unveiled its new range-topping Quad Motor powertrain, and let’s just say, Tesla should be concerned. Rivian‘s models can now boast a four-wheel powertrain pushing out 1,025 horsepower and 1,198 lb-ft of torque, giving it enough power to embarrass anything outside a supercar in a straight line, and enough torque and control to conquer much more than just the Rubicon Trail. The company aims for it to be the perfect one-car solution for anyone willing to drop approximately $123,990 in 2025, but is putting all your money into one do-it-all machine really the best move?
