Nearly ten years after the Volkswagen “Dieselgate” emissions cheating scandal first stunned the automotive world, a German court has convicted four former VW managers for their involvement in the widespread fraud. The convictions in Braunschweig mark another chapter in the ongoing legal fallout from the manipulation of millions of diesel vehicles designed to deceive regulators and consumers.
