Aston Martin’s flagship V12 model has bounced around under different model names over the years, last seen in the lovely, 715-horsepower DBS Superleggera. It’s been a couple of years since that model bowed out, but now there’s a new V12 engine in Aston’s arsenal, and the famous V-named flagship model from the 2000s has made a glorious return in limited quantity and with a very steep price tag. We got to drive the all-new 2025 Aston Martin Vanquish Volante for a couple of hours and managed to wrangle what’s now – deep breath – the world’s fastest front-engine, rear-drive, V12-powered sports car. We’re happy to report that nearly half a million bucks will not go to waste if you decide to buy one of few hundred that Aston will offer.
