We’ll be brutally honest; the first Lexus electric vehicle, the RZ, didn’t feel like the company’s best effort. It debuted with barely over 200 miles of range, similar charging speeds as an early Tesla Model S, and a clever steer-by-wire system that never ended up reaching production. But Lexus hasn’t just been sitting on its hands since the RZ debuted in 2022. The 2026 Lexus RZ is facelifted, improving on some of the criticisms that were lobbed at it at launch.
