2027 Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Gives Porsche A 1,153-HP Punch In The Face

After a very, very long teaser campaign that started more than a year ago, Mercedes-AMG is finally ready to reveal the GT 4-Door Coupe, a fully electric second generation of the company’s hot and heavy fastback sedan. Coming in GT 55 and GT 63 trim levels, the new EV boasts a three-motor powertrain layout, with axial-flux technology and a sophisticated battery giving it four-figure horsepower ratings and a staggering 600-kilowatt charge speed. Set to arrive in US dealers by the end of the year, it’s officially putting the Porsche Taycan on notice.
