America was awash with huge personal coupes during the mid- to late 20th century, with the machines exuding a level of luxury and class that few other breeds of automobile could manage. They were perfect for cruising along the highway on the way to the beach or an important meeting in equal measure, but also pretty fun and engaging to drive when compared to an ultra-luxury sedan.
