Mercedes-AMG delivers what may well be one of the ultimate interpretations of a hot hatch with its 416 horsepower A45 S. Elsewhere, though, Hyundai is tearing up the rules altogether. Its electric hot hatch aspirant is nothing like a traditional hot hatch but it can still simulate an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission while it even comes with paddle shifters. And with the Ioniq 5 N‘s torque interruptions and synthetic engine noise too, Hyundai is certainly challenging the old definition of this genre.
