For decades, the American luxury car was one of the pinnacles of the automotive world. Since nearly the dawn of the car, many American manufacturers have been on top of the proverbial game until around the middle of the 20th century. Cadillac, for example, was heralded as one of the finest automobile producers in the entire world. In fact, the brand’s marketing slogan for years was “The Standard of the World.” Unfortunately, the modern Cadillac doesn’t exactly carry the same fame and opulence as it did many years ago.
