Contract beverage manufacturer DrinkPAK has opened a 1.4 million-square-foot facility at 7777 Oak Grove Road in Fort Worth.
Completed by ARCO National Construction, the facility supports DrinkPAK’s expansion into North Texas. The tenant improvement project features warehouse and production space with multiple high-speed packaging lines. The plant will manufacture energy drinks, sodas, waters, hard seltzers, canned cocktails, milk and milk-alternative beverages like canned cold brew and oat milk-based drinks.
Features include high-acid production lines capable of producing up to 2,600 cans per minute, an automated variety pack line capable of producing up to 1,200 cans per minute, and a fleet of laser guided vehicles in the warehouse.
The City of Fort Worth passed a 10-year tax abatement of up to 70% of incremental real and business personal property — an estimated value of $21 million. The plant was slated to cost over $300 million to build.
