By way of sheer dedication,Hondahas become one of the final suppliers of a tiny market segment: US-market FWD manual hot hatchbacks. Other brands that historically produced them, such as Volkswagen and Ford, have all but bowed out of the segment entirely. As for Honda’s contribution, both the Civic Type R and the Acura Integra Type S are positioned as the last manual hatch frontier.
