Discounts Galore
It’s not surprising that as we near the end of the year, automakers are suddenly eager to sell more cars. The industry is in flux right now, with average car prices rising higher than ever; brands are starting to incentivize buyers again.
It’s also becoming clear that these car brands want to clear inventory before the year ends, and one way to do that is to offer massive discounts. A list has surfaced with more than a dozen major discounts on select models across brands, including high-end models, pickups, and EVs.

$10,000 or More
While dealerships across the U.S. likely offer thousands of discounts, we’re focusing on a list from CarsDirect that highlights multiple discounts currently available in the $ 10,000-or-more range. As expected, the bigger discounts are on higher-ticket items like luxury brands and cars, with some also on pickups and EVs from more mass-market brands.
To keep things organized, we’re going to segment the list into 2 classes: luxury cars and the rest.
2026 INFINITI QX80

Luxury Discounts
Most of the list is dominated by luxury cars, starting with the 2026 Infiniti QX80, which has $10,000 off all variants. Audi’s A8 has been struggling with sales, and the brand’s offer reflects that, with up to $24,000 off MSRP on a 2026 model. Another big discount is on the RS e-tron, which has a $20,000 discount plus an unadvertised $10,000 marketing credit, for a total discount of $30,000. That’s not all for Audi; the German automaker is also offering up to $13,000 off on the Q7 and $10,500 for the Q8.
Mercedes-Benz has 3 notable discounts on the list: a $10,000 discount on the AMG GT, and the 2026 EQS can be had with a total discount of $26,500. The last Mercedes-Benz discount is the $70,000 discount on the S680. Polestar also joins the list, with a $25,000 price drop on the 2026 Polestar 4. BMW also has some interesting discounts: the 2026 XM is now $17,000 off, while the i7 has a $14,500 offer. Rounding out the premium discount list is Genesis, with a 2026 G90 on offer for $10,000 less.

Mass Market Discounts
The list of normal car discounts includes only four models across two brands. The first is Ram, which is now offering a 10% discount (roughly $10,000 or more) on the 2500 and 3500 models; it also offers a 15% discount (roughly $13,000 or more) on the 1500 model. Kia rounds out the list with a $10,000 discount on the Niro EV and EV9.
