Newmark arranged the sale of and $45 million in financing for Ascend Waterleigh Village, a newly constructed, 280-unit Class A multifamily community in Winter Garden, Florida, within the Orlando metropolitan area.Â
Newmark’s Scott Ramey, Brad Downing, Paul Grant and Grant Bretzlaff represented seller D.R. Horton. Matthew Williams, Brian Kochan and Rob Wright secured the financing from Freddie Mac on behalf of the buyer, Millburn & Company. Millburn paid $64 million for the property.
Delivered in 2025, Ascend Waterleigh Village is located in Horizon West, one of the Orlando area’s fastest-growing master-planned communities. The community offers one-, two- and three-bedroom residences featuring screened private patios or balconies. Community amenities include a saltwater pool and pavilion, a 24-hour fitness center, an entertainment club room and a cyber café with private micro-offices.Â
Ascend Waterleigh Village benefits from its proximity to a range of retail, recreational, employment and entertainment destinations, including an adjacent Publix-anchored retail center.
