TIG Real Estate Services broke ground on the first phase of its $80 million, 300,000-square-foot Kyle Technology Park. It’s on a 41-acre site at the southeast corner of Farm to Market Road 1626 and Plum Creek Meadows in Kyle.
The Austin Business Journal reports that the Kyle project is a flexible industrial product that can be used for office and retail. The layout could include 11 buildings that can be subdivided down to 6,250 square feet. Buildings and sites, about 2 acres in size, can be sold, or TIG will build-to-suit buildings for tenants.
The first phase consists of three buildings—each 25,000 square feet—that are on track to be delivered in November.
In Cedar Park, TIG is behind the 120-acre Scottsdale Crossing Technology Center, which is the home to Firefly Aerospace Inc., a Samsung Electronics Co. supplier, Hill Country Electric Supply, Red Horn Brewery and Roastery and The Crossover indoor sports complex.
Kyle is nearing 66,000 people, up from 46,000 in 2020.
